Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

This Talavera-style milk and creamer jug has a hand-painted design of traditional floral details, set off by a sky blue handle and trim. It is a practical and decorative companion to a morning cup of coffee or tea.
It is crafted from Mexican clay by artisans trained in the traditional practice of Talavera pottery, in the region of Dolores Hidalgo. As each jug is finished by hand, no two are exactly the same.
The jug holds 0.5 L, and its glazed finish is dishwasher safe, so it is easy to clean.
