Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

This Talavera-style milk jug is hand-painted with traditional floral details and finished with a dark blue handle and trim — a charming companion to a morning cup of coffee or tea.
It is made from Mexican clay by artisans trained in the traditional practice of Talavera pottery in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. As each jug is finished by hand, no two are exactly the same.
The jug holds 0.5 L, and its glazed finish is dishwasher safe, so it is easy to keep clean.
