This cream and burgundy rug is hand-woven in Oaxaca from 100% sheep’s wool. Cream panels with four colourful medallions alternate with olive green bands of blue, turquoise and purple diamonds, framed by burgundy stripes, and both ends have a white fringe.
Locally sourced fleece is spun on a traditional wheel, coloured with organic dyes and woven on a loom. This construction makes the rug very durable, so it can take heavy foot traffic.
Use it as a runner in the hallway or kitchen, as an extra layer of texture in the living room, or as a meditation rug. Dry clean or hand wash only; not suitable for washing machines or tumble dryers.
