This Talavera-style salsa bowl stands on three short legs and comes with a matching ladle. Both are painted in deep cobalt blue on a cream-white ground, with sweeping leaf and flower motifs, blue legs and a blue rim, all finished with a fine glaze.
The bowl and ladle are moulded, painted and glazed by hand by skilled artisans from the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, and are sourced from small businesses and independent crafters.
Use it for serving dips, sauces and gravy. As every piece is handmade, the design and colour vary slightly and very minor imperfections may be visible. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and a little soap; not dishwasher safe. It also makes a lovely housewarming gift.
