This Talavera-style serving set carries a green floral design with orange details and a blue trim, painted and glazed by hand. Its seven pieces, a central round bowl, five interconnecting tapered sections and a large serving dish, can be arranged as one platter or used on their own.
The set is made by traditionally trained artisans and comes from local traders in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico. As each piece is painted by hand, colour and pattern vary slightly from set to set.
Use it for finger foods, appetisers, crisps and dips at a party, or as a centrepiece on the dining table; it also makes a lovely housewarming or wedding gift. Wash gently by hand in soapy water; not dishwasher safe.
