This seven-piece Talavera-style dipping set is painted in white and orange with cobalt blue detail: bold orange flowers and a blue lattice on a white ground, with blue trim on every rim. A central round bowl sits among five interconnecting tapered sections, with a large serving dish to complete the set — use the pieces together or one at a time.
Traditionally trained artisans paint and glaze each piece by hand, and the set is sourced from local traders in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, so no two sets are exactly alike.
Arrange finger foods, crisps and dips on it for a party, or use it as a centrepiece on the dining table. To keep the glaze looking its best, wash it gently by hand; it is not dishwasher safe.
