Dolores Hidalgo Ceramics · Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato

Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

Product details

This Talavera-style sugar container is painted with an intricate folk-art design in vivid orange and warm green, finished with a sky blue trim. A matching lid and side handles make it easy to serve from and pass around the table.

It is made in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, using traditional Talavera ceramic techniques and locally sourced clay. Each one is painted and glazed by hand, so every piece is slightly different.

Use it to serve sugar with coffee or tea, or keep it on the kitchen counter as a decorative piece. It is dishwasher safe.
