This Talavera-style Halloween pumpkin lantern has an orange jack-o’-lantern face with cut-out eyes, nose and grin outlined in red, and a green stem. Its sides are hand-painted in panels of blue, yellow and red-on-white lattice with cobalt-blue petals and an orange flower, all picked out with raised white dots.
Place a tealight or LED candle inside and the light shines through its carved features. It is made of ceramic and painted by hand in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, so slight imperfections are part of its handmade character. Colours may also look slightly different depending on light and screen.
Use it indoors or out, on the porch or around the home, as a festive piece for autumn celebrations.
