The maker
Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
Free UK delivery on orders over £100. UK deliveries usually take 3–4 working days. We also ship to a range of countries abroad — see our delivery page for rates.
Hand-painted in vibrant yellow, red and green, this Talavera-style ashtray has a deep dish that holds several cigarettes and their ash without spilling.
Skilled artisans in the Dolores Hidalgo region of Mexico mould, paint and glaze each ashtray by hand from locally sourced clay, so every one is different.
Use it indoors or outdoors, or simply as a decorative piece. It is dishwasher safe.
