This large Talavera-style frog is painted in vivid greens and orange with a rich blue trim. Its intricate pattern combines delicate floral and leaf motifs, finished off with little webbed feet.
It is handmade by artisans in the region of Dolores Hidalgo from locally produced clay, then painted and glazed by hand. Each piece is sourced from local crafters who keep the tradition of decorative Talavera pottery alive.
Place it in the garden among plants and trees, or indoors in a kitchen, bedroom or living room. A hole in the back makes it easy to fix in place. As each frog is handmade, patterns and colours vary slightly.
