Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

This Talavera-style wall hanging cross combines a rich black glaze with an intricate hand-painted pattern in white.
Skilled artisans mould and finish each cross by hand from locally sourced clay, using traditional techniques. As every piece is made entirely by hand, no two are exactly identical.
Hang it as a religious symbol or as a decorative accent. It is sturdy and durable, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
