The maker
Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
Free UK delivery on orders over £100. UK deliveries usually take 3–4 working days. We also ship to a range of countries abroad — see our delivery page for rates.
This Talavera-style ceramic ashtray is finished in green and vibrant blue with an intricate hand-painted design. Its deep dish holds several cigarettes and ash without spilling.
It is handcrafted by skilled artisans from locally sourced clay in the region of Dolores Hidalgo. As each ashtray is moulded, painted and glazed by hand, no two are identical.
Use it indoors or outdoors, for yourself or when guests visit. It is dishwasher safe.
