Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

This hand-painted Talavera ceramic ashtray comes in vibrant yellow, blue and green. Its deep dish holds several cigarettes and their ash without spilling.
It is made from locally sourced clay and moulded, painted and glazed by hand, so no two ashtrays are identical. Its region of origin is Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico.
Use it indoors or outdoors, on your own or with guests, or simply as a decorative piece. It is dishwasher safe.
