Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

Painted by hand in a vibrant orange, green and purple finish, this Talavera ceramic ashtray has a deep dish that holds several cigarettes and their ash without spilling.
Each ashtray is moulded, painted and glazed by hand from locally sourced clay, so every one is slightly different. It comes from the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico.
It suits indoor and outdoor use, for yourself or when you have guests, and doubles as a decorative piece. Dishwasher safe.
