Each tile carries an ornate scalloped pattern of traditional Mexican design, painted and glazed by hand in rustic orange and dark green on a cream ground, with the number and the edge in navy blue.
The tiles are made entirely by hand from locally sourced clay and come from an independent business in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, so colour and finish vary slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Use them as house or mailbox numbers, or indoors as decorative wall art for a special date or anniversary — they also make a lovely housewarming gift. To fix them, use an outdoor-ready adhesive suitable for the wall surface.
