This XL Talavera-style butterfly is hand-painted with floral patterns in burgundy, set off with light blue, green, yellow and red.
Each butterfly is moulded and finished by hand by skilled artisans in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, using techniques passed down through generations. It is made from locally sourced clay, so it is sturdy and durable, and no two are exactly alike.
Six holes in the back allow it to be fixed to a wall. Hang it in the kitchen or above the fireplace, or use it outdoors to decorate the garden.
