This large Talavera-style frog is painted in vivid blue and purple with an orange trim. Its pattern of delicate floral and leaf motifs runs down to its webbed feet, and a hole in the back makes it easy to fix in place.
The frog is made from locally produced clay and painted and glazed by hand by crafters in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, so patterns and colours vary slightly from piece to piece.
It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use: place it in the garden among plants, or bring a little character to a kitchen, bedroom or living room. It also makes a lovely gift for animal lovers.
