The maker
Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
Free UK delivery on orders over £100. UK deliveries usually take 3–4 working days. We also ship to a range of countries abroad — see our delivery page for rates.
This Talavera-style wall hanging cactus has a rich dark blue glaze with intricate hand-painted details in red, blue, yellow and orange.
Skilled artisans in Dolores Hidalgo mould and finish each cactus by hand from locally sourced clay, using traditional techniques. As every piece is made entirely by hand, no two are exactly identical.
It measures 35 cm, and two holes in the back make it easy to hang, indoors or in the garden. It is sturdy and durable.
