Most of the colourful ceramics we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor and house numbers — come from Dolores Hidalgo in Guanajuato, a town known for its hand-painted pottery, tiles and house-number plaques. Every piece is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.

This blue and orange Talavera-style mug features a floral and geometric design known throughout the region of Dolores Hidalgo. It looks good on its own or as part of a set.
Each mug is shaped, painted and glazed by traditionally trained artisans from local clay, so the design and colours vary slightly. We source it from a small independent business in Mexico.
It holds 0.5 L – a hot drink in the colder months, or a cool one in the garden in summer. Hand wash only.
