This blue and white Talavera-style mug is decorated with a floral and geometric design that is well known in the region of Dolores Hidalgo.
Each mug is shaped, painted and glazed by traditionally trained artisans from local clay, and comes from a small independent business in Mexico. Because the painting and glazing are done by hand, the design and colours vary slightly from mug to mug.
It holds 0.5 L — for a hot drink in the colder months or a cool one in the garden in summer — and looks lovely as part of a set. Hand wash only.
