This Talavera-style mug is painted with large orange flowers and green leaves over a blue lattice on a cream ground, with a dark blue rim and handle and a dark scale pattern behind the handle. Use it for a hot drink in winter or a cool one in the garden, on its own or as part of a set.
Each mug is shaped, painted and glazed by traditionally trained artisans in the region of Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, from local clay that makes a durable earthenware. It comes from a small independent business in Mexico.
