This 15-piece Talavera-style tea set serves six: six cups, six saucers, a lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl and a creamer. Every piece is hand-painted with bold turquoise-blue flowers outlined in yellow, orange scrolls and green leaves on a lime-green ground, with cobalt-blue rims, handles and knobs.
It is made in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, using the traditional Talavera ceramic technique. As every piece is painted by hand, slight imperfections may occur — they confirm its handmade character, so please look closely at the photos before ordering.
Use it for afternoon tea with friends or as a colourful display piece at home. Hand wash only.
