This Talavera-style tea set for six has a coral floral design. Its 15 pieces – six cups, six saucers, a lidded teapot, a lidded sugar bowl and a creamer – are hand-painted with coral flowers, large sky-blue blooms, red flowers, green leaves and orange scrolls, set off by white panels with a cobalt lattice and cobalt-blue rims and handles.
The set is made in Mexico using the traditional Talavera ceramic technique, in the region of Dolores Hidalgo.
Use it for afternoon tea with friends or as a colourful accent in the home. As every piece is hand-painted, slight imperfections may exist, so please look closely at the pictures before buying. Hand wash only.
