The Champanera flower pot is finished in rich colours with a sky-blue trim and a floral design, with every step of the painting and glazing done by hand. A hole in the base allows drainage.
It is made by artisans trained in traditional Talavera techniques: two types of clay from the Puebla region are mixed, strained and kneaded, and the pot is built on a wheel or in a mould. It comes from a small business in the Dolores Hidalgo region.
Durable and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it suits any room or garden. Each pot is painted by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
