This medium Talavera-style conica flower pot is finished in rich ochre yellow, dark blue and white, with every step of the painting and glazing completed by hand.
It is made by artisans trained in the traditional practice of Talavera pottery in the Dolores Hidalgo region. Two types of clay from Puebla are mixed, strained and kneaded, and each pot is shaped on a wheel or in a mould, so no two are quite the same.
A drainage hole in the base and the durable glazed finish make it suitable for indoor and outdoor use, in any room or in the garden.
