This extra-large Talavera-style conica flower pot is painted in a rich palette of blue, red, yellow, green and white.
It is made in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico, by artisans trained in traditional Talavera pottery. Two types of clay from the Puebla region are mixed, strained and kneaded before the pot is shaped on a wheel or in a mould, and all painting and glazing is done by hand.
It has a drainage hole in the bottom, and its durable material suits indoor and outdoor use. As each pot is handmade, every one is slightly different.
